Wayne Easter Photos From mid-1954 until March 1955, I was a mechanic in the 282nd. FABN stationed stationed there. We almost lived at the "Graf" training center, keeping an eye on the Commies' who were "waiting just over the hill." Our weapons were M40 self-propelled guns, with nine cylinder radial air-cooled engines that kept us hopping, repair-wise. I have 250 plus photos made during my two years service in Fort Jackson, Fort Lewis, Germany, Paris and Amsterdam. I'm trying to get them captioned and made available on the web for anyone who might like to see them..
