  1. My father was stationed with Elvis and his job was a phtographer. He took the very last picture. I’m wondering how it got on here if I have the only copy and negative

  2. My father was staioned at Giessen around 58. He tells the story of going to a company baseball game and his unit played Elvis’s unit team. He said he seen him but he was always surrounded by people. At the time it didn’t bother him because he wasn’t an Elvis fan. He said Elvis buttoned his pants up the same as everybody else and he didn’t know what all the fuss was about. He’s still not a fan but does regret not at least getting a picture.

  3. My oldest brother was stationed in Germany in the mid 60′s. Elvis was with the USO, but his band didn’t arrive in time. Dave’s 3-piece band did backup for him that day.

  4. Spent Christmas of 1959 at the home of Elvis in Bad Neuheim.
Was stationed with the 3rd ARB 51st Inf at Butzbach Germany

  5. The barber that used to cut Elvis’ hair was still cutting in 96′.
