   I recently retired from the Patton Museum of Cavalry and Armor just after moving armor to Ft Benning. I was the exhibit specialist for nearly 20 years. I was always an Elvis fan and had the the project to do an Elvis in the Army exhibit “CitizenSoldier” We had one of his group Joe Escabito as the guest speaker. the exhibit was temporary for 6 months but was extended for another 6 months. We had gotten in touch with the Graceland curator and were able to have personal uniform artifacts, cards and letters from Graceland. During the research for photographs The director found a photo of my father sergeant Arthur Penn standing outside in winter uniform with Elvis. Seeing this page makes me wonder if Elvis had been at the Kasern in GelnHausen at any time?

   he was in Wildflecken at one time, i remember the pictures hanging on the wall at the mess hall in wta
