I was in Ready kaserne 69 thru 71 as company clerk for the HHQ Co. 4/64 Armor Div. 3rd ID.. I think it was building 408? Had a good time and loved german beer. Some of my buds were Bert Mann, Jim Phelps, David Barfield, Sgt Shilt, Danny Miller, Paul Flocken, Donald Spies, and many more. Had a German friend name was Nora Gansmann. My first Sgt was Wofford and Master Sgt Babb.

I was stationed in a burg company c 9th engineer think it was a batilion worst five months of my milatary experience..was in headquarters platoon.First Sgt,i forgot his name.C O also forgot his name.Sgt Overton my sq leader was a buck sgt(what a ass) was transfered there from Regensburg for the last five months i was in the army.looking for old friends.Jerry Rebagley (Rag) John Blake he married a German girl Blanch.C company was screwed up… Rag n John Blake know what im talkin about….so do others.First sgt n Co comander tryed to have me ct martialed to no avail.Cause i took no S— from any rank…..can anyone tell me what kasern it was on .There was another kasern bout mile away.A Burg was a great place .And I got a Honorable….S— hit the fan in Nam on my birthday Mar 8 .i was on ship coming back.Came back on the Upshur.. I was in Charlie Rock 9th Engr in Smith in A-Burg in the 80′s it is the only unit I count in my 4yrs of service even though I went to the Gulf with another for storm and sheild. I can hardly remember any of my fellow soldiers. I can name almost everyone I was with in Charlie Rock my true brothers of service. I think of them alot and my children know their names and the storys of being in the werzburger stasse bars the triangle. just want you all to know I miss you and you counted and made a diffrence in my life THANK YOU.

I was stationed at 4th of the 64th Armor 3rd Div. in 7/66-12/68. Lived on Jaeger Kasern and am looking to see if there are any others who were stationed with me at the same time. I was a Spec E-5 and worked with E-4 Lionel Touche’.
My Frist assignment in Germany 1974-1975 I was stationed at Fiori Kaserne.
Co C 1st Bn 4th Infantry, Bn Commander at the time was known as Tex Turner.

As of Summer 2011, the city of Aschaffenburg built a beautiful new picnic area at the LTA along the road.
I was in Aschaffenburg from 64 to 67 at Fiori kaserne b battery 2/41 field art.
