I lived in Bad Aibling for a little over two years, 1969-1971. My husband was in the Army, his name was Steven M. West , we are now divorced. We lived on Sonnenstrasse. Our landlords were "Neidermiers", really neat people. Our friends were Dave and Virginia Porter, Dewayne and Kittie Lamb, Larry Cole, Tim Pete, Rick Troyer, can't remember all the names. I loved living over there. My oldest daughter was born in Munich at the Army Hospital.

Hello,

We were in Bad Aibling from 1977 to 1981. Very familar with Dr. Carter and crew. When Joe tore his achilles tendor Dr. Carter and crew did a great job in casting him and care.

I understand that Pat Desilva passed away and his son is now running the bowling alley.

We remember fondly, Dale Seeberg, Jenetta and David Lewis, Flash Gordon, Roger Terzinski, Tom & Debbie Mitchell, Bruce Everett, Ace Acosta, Tony Mendoza, Capt. Nelson, MS George, Tom Franchec, Ray Kantola and Ray Medeor (?), Bob Tracey, Zimmie (Zimmerman), Franz at the gym, and too many others to mention by name.

Also fond memories of the Pot Luck Playhouse and all the good times doing; "For Her Childs Sake", "Blyth Spirit", "South Pacific".

Thank you for reminding us of such good times.

I was stationed at Bad Abling from June 1956 until November 1956 when our entire unit was transferred to Rodow, sight of the infamous "Berlin Tunnel". I was there from November 1956 until June 1957 when I went back Stateside for discharge. There were approximately 40 in our unit including officers, enlisted and two civilians. Beginning in September of 2007, those of us healthy enough have held a reunion. We held our first reunion in Bethlehem, PA and have met every September since. Our next one is in Huntsville, AL.
