  1. I was a little German boy back in the mid 60′s and I am looking for a mr. & mrs. Harris. Mr. Harris and his wife lived in our house in Lieblos and he was with the Military Police mrs. Harris always took me to the Kaserne. I like to get in touch with them if they are still alive or their relatives. I have such great memories of them and was never able to thank them. I live in the USA today in Atlanta and Houston.

  6. Here is a good video taken at the old Coleman Kaserne back in 2009: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JajIsYp6ZWw&list=PLAADD62D7C0C58E47&index=1&feature=plpp_video. It was uploaded by speerhead67. Takes you on a nice tour of the old Kaserne. Speerhead67 dedicates it to the Dawgs of Delta Co 1/48 Inf. He did a good job of capturing Coleman Kaserne.

or any others who lived there and attended Frankfurt American High School. Also Nancy Hutton from Budingen, Anita Voltz and others.

  8. I lived in an apartment near or on the base when I was very young around 4 years old in 1957-58, not sure exactly, I remember going to a Catholic kindergaten up in Gelnhausen, going to a carnival an rideing the bumper cars with my mother. I remember going to a dinner on the base where there was a live band and singer on a small stage doing song like Nat King Cole would have done. I also remember seeing tanks. I happened to find this page and thought I would ask if anyone remembers a Sergeant Arthur Penn? some may have known him as (Art). Please let me know anything you might remember about him. The reason that I have been trying to find out information about my dad is that when I was 10 years old and we were stationed at Ft Knox Kentucky in 1964, my patents broke up and I was left with another sergeant and his wife who were very good and raised me. I have not heard from my father again. I have been in contact with my fathers surviving relatives, they have not heard from hhim all these years either. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

    • We were stationed in Gelnhausen from 1956 -1959. My father Chief Warrant Officer Joseph H. LeJeune went in 1956 and then we went and met him in 1957. Daddy was known as Joe and worked , I think, with the armoured equipment. If you remember him, please, let us know.

      Thank you,
