I WAS ASSIGNED TO DOLAN BARRACKS, 775 FA BN, IN OCT. 1955 AND WORKED IN THE BN S-4 SECTION WITH WO JOE THORN, UNTIL I WAS PROMOTED TO SUPPLY SGT, SERVICE BTRY, SAME BN. THEN IN NOV. 57 THE BN ROATED BACK TO FORT CARSON AND WAS REPLACED BY A UNIT FROM CARSON AT DOLLEN BARRACKS. MY WIFE, JOYCE AND I WENT BACK TO HESSENTAL AND SCHWAEBISCH HALL IN 1999 AND TO THE BEST OF MY REMEMBERANCE THERE WASN’T MUCH OF ANYTHING GOING ON THERE BUT ALL OF THE BUILDINGS WERE INTACT AT THE TIME. I HAVE A LOT OF FOND MEMORIES FROM THERE AND WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM ANYONE THAT WAS THERE DURING THIS TIME AND SERVED WITH THE 775 FA BN,

I was a dependent during the same timeframe. My Dad was MAJ Robert Williams, who was the dispensary Commander.

Anyone from 75. General Supply Company that moved to Dolan in the 1987 -88 fron Darby Kaserne in Furth- Nuerenburg. We were a unit without a mission. Personnel were farmed out all the time.

I was assigned the 11th avn hqrs at doland barracks 1981 to 1983 the commander was rudolf ostervich .I know the spelling of his name is wrong.but he was nickname by the troops as reverand rudy.the the group sgt major was jake tremple. I was assigned to S4 as a aircraft quality control inspector.master sgt woods was the ncoic.my other dutys as assigned was drivers licence instructor for doland barracks.msgt joe drisdom&msgt hosie kingwas assigned to the group.180th avn was also at doland barracks , better known as (BIG WINDY)
