  2. I was stationed at Flak Kaserne from early 73 to late 74. ASA group 502nd. A memorable event was a 3 day raft trip consisting of 3, 7 man rafts on the Danube River which ended Vienna Austria. Capt Hogan commanded the trip. It was a beautiful experience and I often wonder what happened to some of the soldiers on that trip. I lost a very nice 35 mm camera to the Danube on that trip.

  6. Ed Rice , I do remember Capt. Coon. He was from Philidelphia. I was CO of A Co Sig BN. I recall our top kick came into the office and said that I should see one of the men. We interviwed the man and he was complaining about Lt. Tea. We didn’t have a Lt Tea but we did have a Lt Coffee. He didnt sit to well with me so I called Bob Coon and said I would like you to see this man. TOP walked him to the dispensery . Bob called me in about an hour and said that there was a problem. The poor guy was a section 8 case. We never saw him again. A memorary but not so wonderful.
