Just wondering where are all the crumb toters out there. I was there late ’74 to ’75 in the hanger generator shop (52B20) Lived in the ghetto and then the old 2 story barracks (HHC?) Capt. Allen C.O. One of our antics was opening both ends of beer cans and making tennis ball cannons and using lighter fluid for fuel, shooting at the Base Commanders open window (no screens at Gieb) Never any direct hits. We were young and fun-loving rascals! I remember the bombed out building behind the ghetto. We would step so gently on the concentina wire on the ground and walk over it to access the building. Using our Army penlights, we would explore. We went down a flight of steps. Then there was another flight going down. Too spooked to continue. Should have w/some good flashlights. Might have found some goodies. Anyone wanna share memories? Anyone remember Dale King when he bought the new Kawasaki H2 750 triple? The Bro let me ride it. 260 kph on the runway! C’mon, guys! Let’s chat. daviddaveinternational@gmail.com
Hi. My dad (John Kulesa) served over in Germany during the Vietnam War. I’m not sure what years he was over there, but I know it was somewhere between 72-76. He was in C Battery, 3rd Battalion, 67th Air Defense Artillery. I’m just looking for some of his buddy’s. I know a couple of the guys he still keeps in contact with, but I’m sure he’d love to hear from more. One of his buddies is Dave Finch and I think the other is a guy named Gary Adams. I do believe my dad’s nickname while serving in the Army was “Goober” (not sure if I spelled that right). If you knew my dad and have some good stories to tell, I’d love to hear them! Please contact me. Thank you, God Bless, and most importantly: Thank you all for your service
I was assigned to the 92nd chemical company 1985-1988. I was a specialist. Our barracks was located across from the comissary. Had a blast. Never stayed on post. I always jumped on the train and traveled. Came back Sunday afternoon. Started the mind games Monday morning for PT formation. Looking for famaliar names during that time.
I was stationed at Geibelstadt 3/67 ADA C and HQ Battery 1976-1979. Sure miss the old place. I hope to go on vacation next year and revisit. I have contact with John Volker but who else is out there?
I am David Fruhling and need to update my address. It is now daviddaveinternational@gmail.com I was there all of ’74 in B or C battery and HHC. Would like anyone who was there between ’73 and ’76. I was 52B20 generator mechanic. Shop was in hanger. Joe “EEE-RRR” Riddle from Allentown, Pa. died in an auto accident along w/3 others who survived. Anyone remember that?

John I was there between 1978 and 1981. I worked at the message center in the HQ bldg. 3-67 ADA Cdr was Col Putman. I enjoy my time there a lot. Remember the Brinos guesthouse?
I was at Gieb with the 318th ASA Bn, detachment A, from 57 -60. We lived in the AF billets and ate in their mess hall. Gieb had the best beer in Germany in those days, Ochsenfurt Ankerbrau, which is gone when I was there in 2006. Played basketball for the Air force team in 57. Knew a lot of AF personne. This was before the Army moved there. The U2 was there during this period.
