Hallo there,

I worked in the dispensary at Grafenwöhr which is now the JMTC Headquarters from 1979 till 85 as lead ambulance driver. From 85 to 90 as supply clerk. After that I went to school for engineering technician. I remenber Batholomew and his wife and I had a good friend named Fitz. Also I worked with Sgt Snead. Had a lot of friends in the 3/60.
We had lots of fun and saved a lot of lives.

Spent many a gunnery at Graf (5) while in 2/2 ACR Echo Troop Bamberg (19E) from 82-84.

Spent 6 weeks there in the summer of1959. Lived in tent city right next to a tank firing range. Spent a couple of weeks there in the winter of 59/60 Great times now. Then not so great

I was stationed at Graf. (permanent, block barracks) B Btry 1 BN 78 FA Fall of 1975- Spring of 1976. I was the XO driver. Reforger was awesome. Cold, but awesome. Setting up for fire missions in some farmer’s field and he would come out with home made plum brandy. Going to the Czech border and Berlin to see the wall. Speaking of walls, how about Nurenburg and “the Wall. Also, going to some of the concentration camps, reality check! If anyone has photos from this time frame, I would love to see them.

was at Graf several times ,1960 -1963 92nd field arttilerry,24th inf. Mostly in the winter time for live fire training. Was in maintance. !05 MM howitzers pulled by Duece and a-havles..Later converted to self propelled guns.Think it was in ’62 when a malfunctioning shell struck our camp.Will kaserne ,Munich was our base camp..any body out there that recalls this event????

I was stationed at Graf from 88-92 with the 535th Engr Co CSE. Best assignment I ever had! Still have several friends in the area. Loved the Green Goose, Underground and Park Cafe, then go across the street and get a sandwich from the schnitzel shack or the kon-tiki………GOOD TIMES!! HMFJW
