Was stationed with HHC, 1st/41st FA at Harte Kaserne from 8/74 to 7/76. Commander was Cpt Douglas J. Middleton, XO: 1lt David L. Kroeshe, 1SGT Finely, Commo Section SSG Baker. I was CPT Middleton's driver and RO. Ended up spending 10 years in. Anybody out there remember these people or me? Give me a shout, have a lot of memories of that time. Especially the stairs going down the mountain, rationed booze and cigs.

I would love see pictures or get any information about this location from anyone that lived here around 1958, when I lived here (born in 1952) with my Dad, who was a Sargent, along with my Mom, my sister, born in 1947 and my brother born in Stuttgart in 1958. I miss this place so much and would like to come back to visit with my husband if possible.

Yeah, The First Sergeant was Wayne Hashimoto. I remember he made a video of the retrograde process, from 1988 to 1990. I would love to see that tape.

Chris Lyman. Bottingen was the place. I've done a little research and there are two cities with the same name. One was north of Stuttgart. The one we went to was In the far south western corner of Germany. About thirty miles north of Switzerland and forty miles east of France. Used to be an old French Nike base.Spent six weeks there in May - June 1970. The rest of my time I spent at Bismarck, A 4/41, and up at the storage site in the hills above Schwabish Gmund. Long time ago. Memories fade. Thanks for the help.

I served in the personel department from 1973-1974. Wondered how my fellow soldiers are doing right now. Big shout out to Sergeant Eckert!

I was at Hardt from Sept 1965-March 67. Col. Haskins was the CO, Capt Stanley King my immediate Commander in the Service Battery along with a Lt Volker. First Sgt James Woods was really cool. Anyone remember Sgt James Crowell? I did various jobs to help keep the Pershings at the ready/steady from the cold war "enemies". Can anyone add more meaning to this? I mean, someone must remember Jerry (Jerimiah) Thorpe, alias-God. Cheers, Jim Nieman, New Zealand.
