I arrived there in September 76 to find my roomate at that time shooting up “H”! THAT was just an example of what the next three years would be like.
A THREE YEAR PARTY!
Those were the Best of Times and the “Worst” of Times.
I made this Video so that people can see for them selves what my life was like in those dark daze . . . . . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ly3YrPFbVmo&feature=related

I was with the 1st signal company 1953-1955. Had one of those signal trucks assigned to me with transmitters, receivers and teletype machines. Roomed with 2 guys named Pappas and Carrol.
I was at Hindenburg fron 1968-1969 6/52 Direct Support Platoon with a missle battery. We stayed on the top floor of one of the buildings. We were seperate from the Signal Corp.
Are you the logistics guy that rode all night with me on a parts pickup during the winter of 69? I drove a three quarter ton with no heat and a canvas top that did not do much to keep the cold out. We had to pull to the side of the road to get 20 minutes of shut eye because I had to drive all the way……you didn’t know how to drive a standard.
