I was there in 76 – 79 and the Falkenhof was my home away from “base”. we were there Every weekend if not every night with Cal, Summers, Mcamis and out German friends Doc, Mike and Mike.

I arrived there in September 76 to find my roomate at that time shooting up “H”! THAT was just an example of what the next three years would be like.
A THREE YEAR PARTY!
Those were the Best of Times and the “Worst” of Times.

Are you the logistics guy that rode all night with me on a parts pickup during the winter of 69? I drove a three quarter ton with no heat and a canvas top that did not do much to keep the cold out. We had to pull to the side of the road to get 20 minutes of shut eye because I had to drive all the way……you didn’t know how to drive a standard.

I was with the 1st signal company 1953-1955. Had one of those signal trucks assigned to me with transmitters, receivers and teletype machines. Roomed with 2 guys named Pappas and Carrol.
