  1. I was a lab tech at the 731st dispeensary in 65 to 67 loved my time there.

  2. I was assigned to Hohenfels (1999-2002) from Hawaii after 3 years as a Scout Platoon Sergeant there. When I got to Hohenfels I was assigned to the Timberwolf 20 O/C Team. Spinal surgery ended me up behind a desk, and I was sent to be an Ops NCO at EXCON in Building 100. Call Sign Spielmeister, we coordinated everything about the training rotation. Called the battle to the COG, managed the divison augmentees, conducted AARs for all the CGs, did our best to keep LTC Hebert at CMTC HQ satisfied with our work. Great soldiers like SFC Terry Tennant, SFC Hall, SFC Gauthier, SFC Smith, SSG Logue, LTC Wade, you guys were an honor to work with. I live in the Schmidmuhlen Housing Area, and even though in previous tours in Germany with 11th ACR, 2nd ACR, 8th ID, and 1st AD I hated going to Hohenfels; being stationed there was some of the best years of my career. Here’s to all the Hohenfels soldiers, past, present, and future.

  3. i was there from 1997-2001, Aco 1/4inf.

  4. Hi Guys, My husband SGT Harry Lawson and I were stattioned in Hohenfels 1985-1988. He was with Bravo Battery and I worked at 713st Dispensery as a nurse assistant/ CMS tech. Short heavy red head. Any other folks that remember us write back. plawson54@elp.rr.com. Sgt Lawson passed in 1997 from complications due to MS. We lived in See on a small farm outside of Parsburg and Lupburg. Sure do miss those times. Hope to hear from someone that remembers us.

  5. I work and lived in Hohenfels for 5 Years.I was a Security Guard. My Unit was the 4011th CSG(Gd).My Home was a Old Barrack in Camp Albertshof, between the Field Troops and the so many Wildschweinen. Now I work for DPW Vilseck,Garrison Grafenwöhr.I never forget this Time in Hohenfels.

  6. Extended my tour to stay at C/3/60 ADA. went from E-nothing to E-5 there as a 16E. Went to Crete twice. closed Herb’s Deustch Cantine many nights. Taught Herb how to make chili and bought him jalapenos at the commissary. Any old Hawkers out there, I’d love to hear from you. I early outed at White Sands MR Sep 92. I am recovering from cancer surgery, successfully, I am a survivor of Hawk and cancer! Really, anyone I served with in Hawk, give me a shout. IT flies, it dies. HAWK-holiday and weekend killer.

    • Hey bob, I probably knocked down a few with you at herbs. I was there during 1st Sgt. Stokes reign of terror.

    • hey, Bob and Steve, I don’t remember either of you offhand but I was stationed at C 3/60 from February 1987 to February 1989. And, I must certainly, remember 1st Sgt. Stokes. may God bless you both.

  7. 1976 to 1979 with the Hawk Battery. I think it was the C-2/157 th ADA.

  8. I was stationed with C660, mobile self propelled Hawk, from fall ’70 till Jan ’72. One of the most beautiful areas I’ve seen. Took 4 week leave and hitched-hiked to Spain, that was great!
