Well, was the best time in the military community these years in the 80s. But it is all history. The Army left BK in 2001 and the kasernes like Hospital, Marshall and Minick don’t exist anymore. Some buildings of the former Rose Barracks are still there (like the General’s building) but the Burger King is vanished and gone…..

I was the SP/5 physical therapist at 14th Fld from 1-66 to 9-67. Some enlisted members of the O.R. staff that I recall were Dan Whistler (who lives in Hanford, CA) and Bob Fitch. I was friends with Capt. Elliot Hasting and Larry De Maurici who were surgeons.

Visited B.k. in 1990, and the hospital was closed, although we were allowed to look around. I have wonderful memories of the 14th and B.K. It was a terrific place to serve out time in the military during the S.E.A. war.

I was stationed at Bad K from 65 to66 and prior to that at Dexheim for 20 months.I was with the 576th Dental detachment and would like to know where Ingrid Seus is now. She was the secretary in the dental clinic in Bad Kreuznach.

If anyone has any information on the whereabouts of people stationed there or in Dexheim,please let me know.

i lived on the hosp barracks, i was in the 298th sig det, i remeber a pretty red haired girl named linda she was a medic, i think she was fm penn. whish i speak with her again

I lived in Pfaffen-Schwabenheim as a teenager and went to school at the high school on the hospital kaserne. I worked summer hire jobs there. I worked at the Burger King on Rose Barracks for a couple of years right after it opened. I was there from 84-89. The last time I was there was Christmas 1990. I would love to go visit some day.

Where you in 8th MP Co? I was in 4th Platoon 90-92 on Rose Barracks, Pruitt and Jeffers rings a bell, but I was a lot of places.
