    I was in 1/37 stationed in Katterbach and Vilseck from 1982-1992. Best time of my life. I remember painting the BN CDRs office armor yellow whine the BN was in the field when I 1st got there. I do not believe he liked it too much

    Folks I arrived in Katterbach in Jan 1987 assigned to Platoon Leader, 1st Platoon. CSM Hill had recently left the Battalion. In April 1988, we deployed 1-37 Armor To Vilseck, Germany on the southern edge of Graf. Ironically today, the 2 Cavalry Regiment (fomer 2 ACR) occupies our fomer barracks.     myself and twin brother stationed at katterbach co. b 126 mn bn 4th armored div. 66to 68.worked on helicopters at daytime ,partied at night in ansbach.love to know where bridgette is now or any other of our dear friends we made at that time.hanz and maria are gone now from the halfway house. met their children number of years back down the street at another guesthouse they were running but i think the boy developed diabetis and had some problems.most enjoyable time of my life in a beautiful part of germany. contact me at dgerdes@fidnet.com. roy & ray the blonde twins

      Roy. i was station in ansbach 67-69 work at dssa supply with mike warden sgt hall mr williams was co first sgt forgot his name i drove a ford tarus gray with white top had lots of beer at maries g hous

    I was stationed in Katterbach in 1974,75,76 1/37th Armored division.I was called “PETE” Does anyone remember Maskotes Disco in Katterbach.

    I was there from 79-81, HHC and C Co 1-37 Armor. Who could forget, when the A2 got on fire at Graf, everyone became marathon runners that day.

      I remember the A2 fire well. I was the Bravo CO’s driver at the time. We were on the 1st range left of the initial zero range. The guys in the zero range, pointed the long range video at the burn before they unassed the tower. That was a way cool “safety” video. I can still see the fireman trying to put a hose in a hatch while the .50 rnds were cooking off.
      The only person I can think of on that A2 at the time was the gunner, Romero if I remember right.
      I just transferred here to the Biloxi area. I’m an intern at the VAMC. Anybody from BRAVO 1/37 77-80 plase email me. I need help remembering, some of it is still in a “haze”

      I remember the fire, I was in the support platoon hiding behind my GOER when it was cooking. Anyone remember the meeting in the messhall with LTC Armstrong right after it?

    I was stationed with CSC 1/37 Armor from 1983 & 1984. Transformed to 16th Engineers in 1985,Currently living in Germany, from 1996 to present. Call me if you were stationed with me during that time period.

      I was in support platoon HHC 1/37 armor from 78 – 81. New a Culpepper, MSG I believe and a Sampson, SGT in one of the tank Co. Possible A.

    as a draftee, i was at krabbenloch from march 68-nov 68. i was with the 128th and a unique short tour of germany. i spent a lot of tdy and a great fun filled 30 day tdy at 5th general hosp. prior to germany i was at aberdeen proving grounds for 10 months after ait.

    Arrived at Katterbach Jun 71. 349th AVN at that time. Nam was closing so many of the guys over in Nam finished up in Germany and there were alot of folks in that barracks. In 72 command changed to 48th AVN. I left in Dec 73. Alot of changes in 40yrs but memories never fade. Remember Stinkys?? And Hindenberg Kaserne which is now a mall. Great time in my life.

      Remember stinkyes in KAtterbach. My Husband was also stationed out there from 71-72. We used to hang out at Charly’s and the NCO club.

    I work for a law firm that fights for veterans’ benefits. One of our clients was stationed at Katterbach in 1979 with the HHB 2/57 ADA (DSP) and was involved in a traumatic accident during that time.       Im sorry but I was there in 74,75,76. I also was in a jeep crash and broke my jaw and was in the hospital for one month in Nurmberg . I can not find any of the records from the hospital can you help.1/37th Armor Katterbech Kasern.

      I was in Katterbach I beleave it was from 1977to1980. C-co 1/37 armor. Iwas on the A2 Tank and we shot top gun of all of USERA I beleave it was in 1979. I absolutely loved it there.

      I was a turret rat in HHC AND C Co,1/37 armor.I also took a LOT of pictures! You might remember me as having a camera with me at ALL times AND taking pictures!Watson,Johnson,Clark,Perrault,TOP GUNS 78-79.Who had the skull and cross bones on the side of the side of the .50 cover/chute?
