Hate to share bad news at this time of year but I heard this on the morning news in Mass.
Craig Conkey, currently serving a life term for second degree murder has been indited on first degree murder in Lexington, Ma in a 19 year old cold case. I remembered the name Conkey from C Batry 2/59 ADA in the mid to late 80′s. I was hopeing it was not the same guy, then they showed him in court and there was no mistake it was him.
I remember him as an ackward teen back in those days that hung out with Knudsen and some others I can’t remember. Trying to wrap my mind around this, how could it have happened? What happened to him after he got out of service?
Really sad for all involved. A prayer for both of his victims as well as for him and his demons.
Again sorry for the bad news. I know he was a good kid at one time..
